Rebenda, David ; Košťál, David (referee) ; Paloušek, David (advisor)
The goal of of this work is to propose a mechanism for pronation and supination of the upper limb prosthesis and its subsequent implementation of functional prototype. The teoretical part summarizes the basic types of forearm amputation and the effect of restricting rotation of the forearm. It also describes the basic distribution of upper limb prostheses and drive types. Construction design includ complete technical documentation is made in Autodesk Inventor Professional 2013 and Rhinoceros 5.0 SR8. The prototype is made of aluminium and ABS plastic.

Title: Foot strikes technique of elite Czech female runners. Aims: The main aim of this thesis was to analyse the pedalling of elite Czech female runners at the beginning and at the end of the main part of the training unit. Subsequently, to compare the results with the literature on the subject, to answer the research questions and to formulate conclusions. Methods of work: Kinematic analysis was used to create this work. Considering the objectives of the thesis, a qualitative method was chosen with subsequent recording of key moments of the foot strike technique in a recording sheet. Results: The fatigue during the main part of the training unit of the Czech elite female runners did not affect their pedaling technique. Female athletes who specialize in middle distances usually adopted a forefoot or midfoot landing strategy, while long- distance runners are characterized by a heel strike.
